The ark …..in which eight souls were saved ……(1Pe 3:20) . The ark is the ship that preserved the lives of eight souls from the destruction of a flood that destroyed the lives of thousands of people…these eight went out of it into a new life, we may feel at times that everything around us is old, the earth…the heavens..our lives…ourselves… our words…our songs…our praise....our goals and visions…even the mercies of God to us….everything seems old, but… here is a gospel of comfort, joy and living hope. And these are our examples: the son of the widow of Nain…Jesus raised to a new life..Jarius’s daughter….Jesus raised to a new life…Lazarus… Jesus raised to a new life… “2Co 5:17 … in Christ, …. old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Jesus is the ark that will take us and crossover for us from our old lives to a our new lives in which He will restore gold instead of bronze (Isa 60:17) restoring for the years that the locusts have eaten in our lives (Joe 2:25).
