A man’s vision & insight are gloomy because of distress, to the point that, he is like a blind man who cannot see anything. However, it is written, “Nevertheless the gloom will not be upon her who is distressed…” (Is 9 : 1) How is that? Because, he who accepts the bright light shining upon him, will not live in darkness, but will see clearly the life in front of him (Is 9 :1). He who comes to Jesus the light of the world (Jn 8 : 12), shall not live in darkness & shall conquer distress by Jesus that conquered the world (Jn 16 : 33) Through Jesus there is neither gloom nor distress.
